Lütfi Abay Cultural and Educational Foundation (LAKEV)

Our foundation was officially established on January 11, 2013, and continues its activities. So far, one significant activity of our foundation has been granting scholarships based on academic achievement to students from various regions of the country, particularly graduates of Lütfi Abay Primary School in Sivas. Our foundation provides scholarships to nearly 60 students each year, and we aim to increase this number gradually. In addition to this activity, our foundation has been awarding the "Scientific Research and Publication Incentive Award" at Sivas Cumhuriyet University for the past two years.

Currently, this award is presented in three categories: Science and Engineering, Social Sciences and Literature, and Medical Research. We plan to expand the award to include different fields and young researchers in the future.

The goal of our foundation is to engage in various activities in the field of education, including the construction of schools. Our foundation is a family foundation, and its management includes Lütfi Abay, Necla Abay, Berkan Abay, Volkan Abay, and Atakan Abay.

We express our gratitude to Mr. Engin Şenol, a fellow countryman, for his significant contributions to the establishment of our foundation. We hope that our foundation will continue to undertake valuable projects and contribute to the development and progress of our country and nation.
